Girls in Love

Jon was able to visit this weekend and it was a huge blessing to watch him get to know my CVE side of the family! The girls have had mixed feelings about this "stranger," but they gave him a chance this weekend and he definitely melted their hearts. ;)

Aaron, Diego and Jon play "sandwich."

We went to explore the girls' latest casita.

Jon, Aaron and the chicas sit in the crazy neighbor's airplane.

Magda photojournaled the whole weekend. This is only a small sampling of the over 300 photos she took. :) Mom, don't worry, between Magda and Jeanne Rink, not a single moment was left undocumented.

It turns out that the girls are crazy about love. Two of the girls have told me that they are going to be the ones to marry Jon...

Thanks to all who have added us to their prayer lists. What a blessing it is to be supported by so many.

Well, it feels kind of funny weighing in as a cousin-in-law, because I feel more on the "mom" end of things. The testimonies and happy smiles warm my heart, and give me cause to praise and trust God all the more! Every time I think about the wedding and the Waibel Extravaganza it will turn out to be (has he warned you, Amy?) I can't bear the thought of missing it. They are going to absolutely adore you, and I want to be there for the fun! Sigh, sometimes California seems so far away! Blessings...and we'll be in touch!

p.s. We hope to be in Magdalena by the 17th, for a week! Maybe our paths will cross!

Man, that last pic is absolutely amazing, beautiful, fabulous... oh wait, sorry... I was looking at Pollito and Candi... ;)
It was fun watching you two interact, and I think Jenna and I are reassured enough that we won't have to sabotage the wedding or anything... :)
