Yesterday a large group convened on the porch for "communal" haircutting time. Jenna and I each had our own clippers and started trimming hair as fast as the overheated machines could go. Later, one of the male mentors made the statement, "I like communal haircuts, so we all go the dorm and we all have bad haircuts together."
Francisco asked if he could use my camera. Distracted by the task at hand, I let him, and from the pictures I now have on my camera, it was worth it. ;)
Pictures by Franc

I am sure he would be willing to start doing Senior portraits and wedding photography.
A few pictures not involving Franc
Daniel uses locks of David's hair to transform himself for the picture. He said he really liked his own hair cut, but he didn't take the hat off for awhile.
Seth has recently been whining (all sarcasm intended) that he has not had enough screen time on the blog, he is alive and well. :)In other news:
-Limón could use our prayers as he studies Spanish in Morelia for the month of September.
-Also, Keith and Emily Schamback are currently studying Spanish in Morelia, with plans to eventually live in Magdalena and I am sure would also appreciate our prayers.
Food for thought:
What do "y'all" think of the word "pocked in" or "blarked in"? (Refer to post "I'm Just a Busdriver"...) Could one of these words possibly help us close the giant cultural gap between Bluffton and the rest of the world?

my mom always did those communal haircutting things with my brothers and dad...and cousin, and uncle, and whoever else needed one. she'd just say, Tuesday night its hair cuts..

ami, I think there may be no hope for closing the cultural gap b/w Bluffton and the rest of the world... but you can just keep using those creative words while trying..
