Friday was our last day of swimming lessons. It was especially great as all of the girls received new beach towels. (Thanks Mom and Dad!) They did want to know why Dad had so many beach towels as all the towels were marked with the initials "M.F."
Lupita imitates the dog sleeping at the edge of the pool.
Maycon shows me my personalized "garden." In case you couldn't tell, yes, it does say "Amy" in crushed up pecans. :)
Because of the rain on Tuesday, swimming lessons weren't a good option for the kids. We decided instead to play Ultimate Frisbee in the muddy field.
Needless to say it was slippery and a little dangerous, especially because of the many thorns in the mud. Ouch! I apparently have wimpy feet and went to cheer from the muddy sidelines.
Jeff slips as he tries for the frisbee.
Armando plays in the "pig pen."
Armando wallows in the pig pen...It was disgusting.
Lili and Karla swing as Eli is up in the tree house. The girls' casita behind the dorms is their world away.
Magda attempts to learn to cartwheel. I was not a very good teacher (obvious from the picture.) :)
Paola reads on the front lawn.

Hi Ames!
Several comments:
I don't remember ever looking that adorable wrapped in a beach towel!
It's not everyday that someone gets their name written out in crushed pecans! I'll bet you feel very special...
Your green grass makes me realize just how dry our yard really is!
Several questions:
Does Armando actually like the taste of mud in his mouth and the feel of it in his eyes? Yuck!
Who was in charge of the laundry after that pigpen game of ultimate frisbee?
Looks like your days pass quickly!
I love you,
Mom
The M.F. label..I did it so that all the towels were mine after the kids moved out, then found out I did not need that many!
Love,
Dad
Amy ~
Aramando is totally covered in mud. YUCK! However, he looks like he is happy to be that way.
I can see why you went to the side lines to cheer.
We would have to look pretty hard to find mud in Indiana right now.
Love you,
Teresa
tell Magda it's ok -- I can't do a good cartwheel either :)
love you!
