Crazy Days of Summer

As we have had scorching days, the past few afternoons as the sky darkens with clouds that deceptively look like they are going to bring lots of rain, everyone is excitable and I think I could safely say, just a little crazy.

The dark clouds lifting

Aaron was skipping around the lunch room as the other kids ate, chanting, "santo, santo, santo" (holy, holy, holy).

He then fell over and died, "like Jesus on the cross."

Brian takes the kids for rides. Karla Josie pretends to be scared.

Uriel pops-a-wheelie

Armando finished his hour of computer time and was telling me of the monsters he killed. When asked to show his monster face, this is what happened.

He then proceeded to chase me around like a monster.

Then, he saw Aaron throwing pebbles in the air, so he joined in until they both had to quit b/c of the pain.

He then apparently felt the need to be a one man circus as he started to show off his acrobatic abilities.

Joel holds the exploded Diet Coke that he found in the freezer. He claims innocence to the crime.

Franc falls to the ground, but the blow is cushioned by his pillow. I wasn't there, but borrowed this picture from Limón. Part of their "fight night" with the boys or something.

Clearly Armando is "doing the daBID."

Can you get any more precious?

José models his new haircut. (Seth, come back, things are falling apart.)

Uriel punches the camera. I am not sure why.

I just went to preview the post and noticed the girls have been very underrepresented on this post. Probably because we are more mature or something.

Just a few moments showing that isn't true.

I decided it was time to get over my fear of tarantulas by holding one. (Joel has creepy animals trapped in an aquarium.) I was a little unsure, but it was honestly not too bad. I had a dream one was on my head and I wasn't even scared. Then again, my dreams are definitely not always reliable.

Glorieta, the crazy cat. I am really not sure what she was thinking. ;)

Candi represents how most of the CVE girls walk around in the morning, a little grouchy and bad hair.

Awesome pictures...super funny stuff. People have gotten a little crazy, I guess we can blame on the rain.

And for the audience at home, it was Amy who colored Gloria as a cat, and then let herself also be drawn on! She didn't post those pictures...
But don't worry, I'll share them with anyone smart enough to find out my email address!

Amesy ~

Thanks for the action shots of life at CVE.

Thanks to Pepe for the REAL TRUTH of Gloria's cat face. We know Amy good enough than to think that she is always the innocent bystander.

Love you! Todd and Teresa
