A Precious Goodbye

As a follow up to yesterday, I would like to apologize for those I didn't let know that the boys are being adopted together. Praise the Lord! That decision seemed so worth fighting for as we saw them leave last night. They hugged and kissed all the kids and staff who all kept smiling, despite sadness. Then they both climbed into their "mommy and daddy's" arms and started to walk away.

As they were leaving, we heard Andres say, "Timi, take my hand." They grasped hands and the four walked away. Timi looked back waved and with a smile on his face shouted, "bye, bye!"

The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isaiah 11:6

Thanks for sharing those pictures and the post. They are precious. My heart is with you all. Yet, it is comforting to know we can let them go in the hand of God, knowing He loves them even more than we do. As we live with an "open hand"..all that slips through ours, is still within the hand of God. My prayers are with you all.
Love,
Carissa

Can't imagine the emotions there on site. They're mighty strong here in IN as we also wave goodbye to two little guys that brought us all a lot of joy. Thankful our God is greater than all of us as we commit them to HIM.

All of the posts already say what we feel. Praying for all the CVE staff and children and the "new family". The adoptive parents are probably so thrilled that they were able to adopt two happy, well cared for little boys.
Love you,
Todd and Teresa

We are praying for you all, especially for you, Jenna. Fostering is so wonderful and yet 2 sided, you gave your heart to these precious children that needed love so badly, and then as they move on how badly we hurt. Take courage that you were there and gave them what they needed when they needed you. May the Lord shower His blessings on each of you and what you're doing!
