It was a typical bonfire, smores, singing, kids running around screaming almost falling in the fire, stories and lizards.

Federico is one of the "cooks" of the marshmallows for the smores.
Diego, Poncho, Aaron and Gabriel
During our relaxing evening, we had a sudden interruption as Yaneli vaulted off of Seth's lap, screaming about something. This was funny, but it was even funnier as Seth proceeded to jump up, hitting his pant legs and "dancing" around the fire, trying to explain that something had crawled up his jeans. After a few minutes the excitement subsided and we continued to eat smore's and life went as normal. A few more minutes passed and Seth calmly got up and disappeared to the bathroom...
He came back in a few minutes telling us that there was a lizard that had been in his pants the whole time. It had made a nice home in the waist of his pants and stopped moving temporarily. The kids made a mad dash for the bathroom and captured the lizard. Oh my. That was maybe the most excited we have ever seen Seth.
P.S. Thanks to Gloria and Steph for letting me use their photos.
P.P.S. Best Buy is giving me a new camera! Only a few more days and I will have one again. (I know, it isn't like we have a picture shortage around here or anything, i just miss it!)
P.P.P.S. (What does PSSS even mean? Never mind, Thanks Nick! :)) I hope you all have/had a blessed Sunday!

I have to admit, if he jumped at all, he'd certainly be more energetic than I've ever seen him.
Oh, and I think it's supposed to be PS, PPS, PPPS, etc... (PostScript, PostPostScript like After-Writing, After-After-Writing).
Amy, the lizard episode was probably funny to everyone except Seth. We are having our Love One Another Supper today. Wishing you a Blessed Sunday also.
Love you,
Grandma
Amy, I would have loved to have been at your bonfire. However, even though I'd be tempted to poke fun at Seth, the reality is that if the same thing happened to me, you'd have to call 911. I told this to Dad and he replied, "No, nobody would have to call 911. They would hear you!" Have a blessed Sunday. I love you, Mom

Sounds like a great evening. Living creatures always make outdoor activities memorable! On our workteam, Ben G. discovered a lizard inside his shoe, after he put it on! (maybe it was placed there???!)
Have a great week.
oh my that is priceless, wish i coulda seen that dance...oh sethy...:)
How funny! ...too bad the video camera wasn't out and on! :) I think it is about bonfire weather here as well, ...only to me that means it's chilly! Brrr...I miss the Mexico sunshine!
Love to you all,
Carissa
p.s. Ames, I think your comments have come out of their slump! :)
A relaxing bonfire sounds pretty nice! I couldn't handle the lizard part though. Sounds like Seth handled it fairly well. Federico's top two marshmellows look tempting.
Hope the week at CVE is a good one!

This reminds me of the fireants on a worktrip a few years ago with a certain brother and another dance that would have been priceless to get on tape!
Just be glad it wasn't a scorpion
(or a snake)!
Also, what does "zesty" mean? I have to learn that for school.
Miss ya,
