Daniela, Ivone and Hilda

Painting is never any fun...unless there is a paint fight involved!

The three girls are part of a new program that God has opened the doors here in Magdalena. In town, between Bill and Joan's house and Carisssa and Stephanie's, we rented another house that is going to be used for an independent living program. Daniella, Ivone (pronounced E-bone)and Hilda are all "officially" orphans and have been living on their own, working and going to school. Daniela has a brother and sister living here, so that Daniela and Ivone have spent time here and become a part of our CVE family. Hilda also has a sibling here and we normally see her on Sundays. In so many ways, they already feel like a part of our CVE family.

Bottom picture: Daniela is in the red and is holding her niece, Paloma, and Ivone is in the blue.

We are thankful for this new opportunity here! We would ask for your prayers for wisdom and guidance as we take on this new ministry. Also, please pray Ephesians 3:14-21 for Hilda, Daniela and Ivone.

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God. Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

This is exciting to watch a new minstry develop. I hope the paint was waterproof! We have a question here at home...do you want an ipod cover (gel or plastic) or an ipod case? (leather or vinyl?)

Love Dad

Dear Dad,

I would like a black ipod to go with the gel cover. Thanks for your concern for los Schicks!

Ha ha...Oh Bill,

Dad, I think I want whatever is cheapest and most protective. I don't really understand the difference.

Actually, I will send an e-mail, so the whole blogger population won't know what is going on with the IPOD.

love,
amy
